Raffle terms of participation

Among all mentors of the round, we are raffling access to Claude until the end of September 2027. This page explains who takes part and how the raffle works.

This is a translation for your convenience. Only the German version is legally binding.

Organiser

KITE, Karlsruher Initiative für Talente und Entwicklung, a student group in Karlsruhe (Simon Feldhusen, Paul Swietlik, Till Schreiner). Contact: info@kite-karlsruhe.de.

Who takes part

  • Everyone who applies as a mentor for the winter semester 2026/27 round by the application deadline on 8 November 2026, 23:59 and whom we accept as a mentor, even if they remain a reserve.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Taking part is free, and you do not need to do anything else.
  • Members of the KITE team and employees of the company providing the prize cannot take part.
  • If you withdraw your application before the draw, you no longer take part.
  • If you do not want to take part, write to us at info@kite-karlsruhe.de. This has no effect on your application.

The prize

  • Access to Claude by Anthropic with Claude Code: a premium seat in the Team plan of the company that provides the prize. The list price of such a seat is 125 US dollars a month.
  • The access is valid from setup until the end of September 2027.
  • The seat belongs to the organisation of this company. Before you accept, we tell you what that means for your data.
  • Anthropic’s terms and usage policies apply to its use.
  • The prize is not transferable and is not paid out in cash.
  • If the offer ends earlier for reasons beyond our control, for example because Anthropic discontinues it, the access ends too. There is no replacement in that case.

Draw and notification

  • We draw in November after the selection, among everyone taking part at that time.
  • A member of the KITE team draws using a random number generator. We record the draw without names.
  • We notify the winner by email at the address of their application. They have 14 days to accept the prize. If they do not respond, we draw again.
  • We only publish who won with their consent.

No influence on the selection

The raffle has no influence on whom we accept as a mentor or which first-year student a mentor chooses.

Anthropic

Anthropic is not involved in the raffle. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic.

Data protection

How we process your data for the raffle is described in the privacy policy under “Raffle among mentors”.

Other

  • We may change or cancel the raffle for good reason, for example if the prize is no longer available.
  • Anyone who breaches these terms or tries to influence the draw does not take part.
  • German law applies.
